Review- B Natural Organics Anti-Aging Collection

Howdy beauties!

Hope you all are taking care of your skin, very well very well . Makeup isn’t everything we need to look beautiful. What matters is the “thing” under your makeup and that is your skin, that needs a lot of care specially when you get older. As bad as “older” sounds, let’s face it as it is reality. Once we hit 25years of our ages, we need to pay more attention to our skin and start using anti-aging products. As we grow older, our skin becomes drier as it stops producing necessary properties that maintains youthful glow hence leaving our skin with wrinkles and unwanted spots.

In my case, I started anti-aging products a the age of 32 and I sometimes feel bad for having started it really late but “late is better than nothing” , right? Since then I have tried different products , there have been hits and misses but something makes me wonder, that is the products that work for me do not last longer. I feel like they do their job better for 1.5 to 2 months at most then later it just stops giving me results. That’s the reason my hunt for skincare products keep going and I have embraced the fact that my skin responds to certain product for maximum of two months and not more than that. So it is very much natural if you find yourself in the same position as mine and not freak out. Anyway ,this was just a random thought I wanted to share. Moving on to the purpose of this post, as promised, I will be coming with different skincare solutions for all your problems and today I have another one.

B Natural Organics is a Botanically Active Skin Care company that provide you with natural healthy skin care line that is free of artificial colors, synthetic fragrances and harmful preservatives.

Today I have for you , the Anti Aging Collection.

B Natural Organics Anti Aging Skincare Collection
B Natural Organics Anti Aging Skincare Collection

They were so kind and generous to send me one of their best line to try and share with you all and I received them in a very cute box, very well packed with two booklets containing information about their company and the details of the products sent. It makes me feel really good to receive PR samples in a very good condition, properly packed with all information. First impression is the last impression ,as people say and it is true. So this brand won my heart the moment I saw what I received.

What the kit contains:

1. Bio-Active Cleansing Treatment

2. Daily Botanical Enzyme peel

3. Niacin Complex Balancing Mist

4. Sea Kelp Moisturizer

The above are the four products you need mainly but with those you get 3 other products listed below.

5. Aloe Leaf Body Lotion

6. Mother of Pearl Facial Scrub

7. Pomegranate Facial Scrub

So they provide you with a complete range of anti-aging products you need in one kit. The best part is, if you do not want to spend a lot yet on something you haven’t tried before, they have a “Trial Kit” for you which are sample sizes as you see in picture. The quantity is good enough and will last for 3 to 4 weeks depending on usage. The trial kit is for $25. You get 7 Organic anti-aging products good for 1 month which in my opinion is a great deal.  The full-sized kit costs $85 which I feel will be too much for those who haven’t tried their products yet considering the fact that it will be their first time using it. So I suggest get yourself the trial pack first , try it and I’m sure you will opt for the full-sized one. Please note the full-sized kit contains 1 to 4 products plus one eye cream. Please check here for details.

  1. Bio-Active Cleansing Treatment:
Ingredients:Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) Leaf (and) punica granatum (pomegranate) (and) vaccinium angustifolium (blueberry) juice, decyl glucoside (and) sodium lauroyl lactylate, vegetable glycerin (and) camellia sinensis (green tea) leaf extract, panthenol (pro-vitamin B5), populous tremoloides (aspen bark) extract, vacciniummyrtillus (billberry) fruit/leaf extract, xanthomonus campestris (xanthan) gum powder, saccharum officinarum (sugar cane) extract, cedrus atlantica (atlas cedar) wood, abies balsamea (balsam fir) needle, juniperus communis (juniper) berry, litsea cubeba (may chang) fruit, lavendula angustifolia (lavender), eriocephalus punctulatus (chamomile cape) flower, anthemis nobilis (Roman chamomile) flower, cananga odorata (ylang ylang) flower, cymbopogon martinii (palmarosa) grass, pelargonium graveolens (geranium) leaf, citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) fruit extract, citrus medica limonum (lemon) fruit extract, acer saccharum (sugar maple) extract.
What they say:This anti-aging cleansing treatment utilizes aspen bark enzymes to microscopically exfoliate the skin. This process stimulates collagen and elastin proliferation to plump and tighten skin. Pomegranate and blueberry juice provide intensive anti-oxidants while vitamins and extracts nourish and protect the skin with every cleansing. Made in a pure aloe vera juice base to add a rich supply of amino acids to help combat the signs of aging. Your skin will be left clean, stimulated and radiant. The anti-aging and nutritional benefits of this cleanser are accumulative.

What I say: It is one of the best cleansers I have used. There are very products that gives you instant results and this is one of them. It has transparent thin liquid inside which forms lather when rubbed onto hands ,making application very easy. Skin feel very smooth, fresh and cold after rinsing. The softness of our not-so-old yet not-so-young skin is restored which is the best part. However, you will feel your skin tightened and stretched which is okay as the product is doing its work.

How to apply: Massage the product onto skin in circular motion for at least a minute(face & neck) ,rinse with tap water.

2. Daily Botanical Enzyme Peel:

Ingredients:Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) juice, lactic acid (plant-based), populous tremoloides (aspen bark) extract, cucumis sativus (cucumber) extract, panthenol (pro-vitamin B5), bambusa arundinacea (bamboo) extract, zingiber officinale (ginger) extract, calendula officinalis (calendula) extract.
What they say:Botanical Enzymes have been called the most important skin care agents of the decade. The active enzyme used in our Daily Botanical Enzyme Peel loosens dead cells from the skin’s surface by dissolving stubborn glue-like substances that refuse to release dead skin cells through normal cleansing. These cells create a barrier for proper absorption of moisturizers and serums, so getting rid of these dead cells means that fresher cells are exposed resulting in optimal absorption of products.

What I say: This enzyme peel increases the production of collagen that diminishes the appearance of fine lines and removes all stubborn impurities. As such I do not see any difference physically but definitely feel a little burning sensation.

How to apply: Apply all over face using cotton pads , just the way you apply face toner. It feels a bit tingly at first. This has to be applied once a week until the tingling sensation becomes bearable, then you can increase the use gradually. At first, your face will become reddish ,do not freak out as this means the product is doing its work.

DSC_66483. Niacin Complex Balancing Mist:

Ingredients:Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice, cucumis sativus (cucumber) extract, populous tremoloides (aspen bark) extract, sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid), alpha lipoic acid, phospholipids (and) ubiquinone (CoQ10), dimethylaminoethanol (DMAE bitartrate), niacin (B3), salvia officinalis (sage) extract, carica papaya (papaya) extract, citrus aurantium dulcis (sweet orange) peel, citrus aurantium amara (neroli) flower, eriocephalus punctulatus (cape chamomile) flower, anthemis nobilis (Roman chamomile) flower, salvia sclarea (clary sage) leaf, cananga odorata (ylang ylang) flower, lavendula angustifolia (lavender) leaf.
What they say: This balancing mist is a powerhouse of nutrients, alpha lipoic acid, and DMAE to tighten, nourish, and protect the skin. Our liposome delivery system imparts vital nutrients as it adjusts skin to optimal pH levels for complete nutritional absorption. Made in pure aloe vera juice, adding a rich supply of amino acids to help combat the signs of aging. This mist is a nutritional treatment in itself..

What I say: This comes in a spray bottle which has to be applied right after the Enzyme peel. On days you do not use the enzyme peel, still this has to be applied as it is one of the key steps of this whole routine. After this is sprayed, the burning sensation due to enzyme peel will increase a bit and there will be more redness but this redness won’t be there longer. Hardly lasts for 5mins then skin color is back to normal. This feels so refreshing that I use this on and off during the day to hydrate my skin. Not sure if it’s fine to use it in such a way, but I did as it feels really nourishing.

DSC_6650

4. Sea Kelp Moisturizer:

Ingredients:Aloe barbadensis (aloe) leaf juice, vegetable glycerin (and) macrocystis pyrifera (sea kelp) extract, vitis vinifera (grapeseed) oil, cetearyl alcohol, sodium stearoyl lactylate, populous tremoloides (aspen bark) extract, panthenol, myristyl myristate, rubus idaeus (red raspberry) seed oil, vaccinium myrtillus (bilberry) fruit extract, sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid), hydrolyzed avena sativa (oat) flour, allantoin, saccharum officinarum (sugar cane) extract, citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) fruit extract, citrus medica limonum (lemon) fruit extract, citrus aurantium amara (petitgrain) leaf, lavendula angustifolia (lavender), anthemis nobilis (Roman chamomile), citrus paradissi (grapefruit) peel, eriocephalus punctulatus (cape chamomile), cedrus atlantica (atlas cedar) wood, pelargonium graveolens (geranium) leaf, ormensis multicaulis (wild chamomile), citrus aurantium amara (neroli) flower, citrus sinensis (orange blood) peel distillation, cananga odorata (ylang ylang), acer saccharum (sugar maple) extract.
What they say:  We have incorporated intensive amounts of antioxidants, proteins, vitamins, allantoin, and red raspberry seed (offering one of the highest anti-oxidant profiles for natural sun protection). While our fruit extracts offer natural glycolic and lactic acid and our sea kelp offers protection from environmental toxins. Our preservation system is aspen bark extract, which is loaded with salycilates for intensive anti aging results. From the depth of your pores to your skin’s surface, our anti-aging cream will repair, nourish and protect your skin, while restoring the natural glow of young, healthy skin. Specially formulated without the use of waxes to provide deep absorption for optimal results.

What I say: The moisturizer feels a bit greasy and uncomfortably suffocating on the skin when applied. But then eventually I learned and found a way how to adjust it with time. When applying , massage it gently till it is absorbed by skin and see the magic. Skin feels very soft, non-greasy and very nourished. Now it has become my favorite moisturizer.

Review- Epoch Glacial Marine Mud

My love for face masks is never-ending. I end up buying face masks every time I go for skincare products shopping. Even though I already have plenty , still I can’t get enough of it. So when Vivian of Nu Skin offered to send me some samples of their products to try out, I just couldn’t resist as 2 out of 3 items were something I fancied a lot. Who doesn’t want to try new products by the way. So I happily accepted and I am now here with the results. ❤

So today I have for you all, Epoch Glacial Marine Mud . It is a mask not only suitable for your face but body as well. Isn’t that amazing. Laughing out loud

Epoch Glacial Marine Mud
Epoch Glacial Marine Mud

Details from the website:

A simple and natural way to softer, smoother toned skin. Revitalising clay mask with sea botanicals draws out dirt and impurities from the skin. Contains extremely fine mud particles and leaves skin feeling fresh, renewed and healthy-looking. Suitable for all skin types.

KEY INGREDIENTS

Glacial Marine Mud (Maris limus)—obtained from a remote glacial estuary in the Pacific Northwest, absorbs impurities from skin (dirt, dead cells, excess oil) without robbing precious moisture. This skin-beneficial mud is homogenized to increase its absorption powers and provide ideal consistency

My thoughts:

Best thing about facial masks are, you get the result instantly. You apply it and when process is done, you can tell immediately if the product is working for you or not. But I always believe in maintaining everything you do. Maintain and be consistent with what you have started for longer and effective results. In my case, I use masks to treat my pores, deep cleanse and remove excess oil, which is most of the masks do. Though I can immediately tell whether a product is working for me or not on the first application itself, I always continue and have a proper schedule for this routine, to maintain what I started or I will have clogged pores again causing it to look huge! Annoyed

Very few masks show you a very satisfying result on the very first use. Epoch Glacial Marine Mud mask is one of them.

Epoch Glacial Marine Mud Mask results
Epoch Glacial Marine Mud Mask results

This picture was taken the very first time I used it. You can see the magic yourself. It did suck the dirt out of the core of my pores seriously! The makeup freak I am, most of the days my face has to bear the burden of all the makeup products I wear, one can imagine how much of cleaning I need to do. Specially when you have pores ,you need to give it attention and not ignore it. This mask minimized the visibility of my pores. My pores do look smaller than usual and now I am on my 3rd time use. Do not expect pores to disappear as no product would do that not unless you go for any kind of surgery. But this kind of results is not less than any magic to me as I have tried many masks and very few gave such results.

How to apply:

1. Wash your face with your favorite face wash.

2. Apply mask with fingers or flat foundation brush ,all over face except for eyes and lips.

3. Do not bring it any closer to your eyes specially the under eye area.

4. Leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes.

5. Wash it off and dry using a soft towel.

6. Apply moisturiser.

PicsArt_09-20-08.32.02

PicsArt_09-20-08.32.45

Pros: Rolling on the floor laughing

1. Easy to use

2. Gives instant result

3. Mask not only for face but body as well Open-mouthed smile

4. Can treat wounds

5. Lots of benefits such as reviving youthful skin, deep cleanses, removes black and white heads(if you have any other color of heads, I’m sure this product will work wonders on that too Smile with tongue out).

6. The minerals in it helps a lot with giving you a healthy skin.

7. The mud has property to attract water hence leaving it hydrated.

8. suitable for Men and women.

Cons: Sad smile

1. The Price. If I convert the price to AED, I find the price to be very high as compare to high-end brands here that offers masks ( not sure if they give the same best result as this mask does)

2. Not available in UAE but best part is, they can ship anywhere in this world.

In my case , I will definitely spend that much on this product because of obvious reasons and it is not a one time use only. The product is to be used once a week only(advisable) and considering this, in my case it will last for 3 months. So spending a bit more on a mask that works wonders for 3 months is a good enough reason.

Review & Swatch – Urban Decay Naked Flushed in Streak

I know ,this is a very old product and I am too late to review and swatch as probably all of you must have owned this already ,if not ,at least are aware of this product. But I just had to bring it out once again as “Strobing” is so much in nowadays. With strobing conquering the whole beauty world, how can I just ignore a highlighter? So I decided to bring to you different highlighters that I already own and plan to own shortly 😛 and review them.  For today, I have the Urban Decay Naked Flushed in the shade Streak.

The box
The box

The box looks like any Urban Decay makeup product. That is their signature look probably, you don’t even need to read and you will just know it is from Urban Decay. The back of the box mentions everything about the product in the palette one in English and one in another language.

pizap.com14422498721051

These are the sides of the box where you will find all the necessary details such as ingredients , location etc. Nothing new or special with the ingredients, they are pretty much the same as any other bronzer, blush or highlighter.

URBAN DECAY NAKED FLUSHED-STREAK
URBAN DECAY NAKED FLUSHED-STREAK

The palette consists of powdered bronzer, highlighter and blush. The bronzer is brown with a bit of orangish undertone. Highlighter is sort of pinkish which I think is just perfect for any skin tone. The blush is a very beautiful peachy shade. The colors are no doubt, very pigmented but …so here comes the “but” ! They are too powdery, though they feel very soft, velvety and creamy. When I swipe my brush on the palette, I can see a lot of powder accumulating on the sides which is a total turn off for me considering the worth of the product. It is a high-end brand, people, for the amount we pay , I at least expect perfection. I use my Sleek Blush palettes a lot and those palettes never had any kind of fall outs. Sleek palettes cost around AED65 here in UAE and UD Naked Flushed AED235(approx). With this price difference, I have the right to demand a lot!

I will link Check out the video to view a live swatch of this palette so you can see for yourself.

Longevity: UD Naked Flushed Blush longer but the highlighter and bronzer is smiley-face-thumbs-down-clipart-Thumbs_down_smiley2_Clip_Art

Motivational Posts- My Facial Care Planner

I have always been someone who stayed away from Beauty Salons. It isn’t that I have anything against them, but I just do not have the patience to sit there for hours and let them do all the stuff to me. I dread the moment when I cannot move because someone is working on my face or nails and I might just make them uncomfortable or injure myself or whatever. I want to move all the time, walk, run,fly (okay not really fly) but I want to be free. I am so impatient when it comes to getting pampered at salons.

Besides this, I love to do hair , face, nail, body care myself. The fact that I am doing something for myself feels so good. My skin and body needs my attention and I have to give that no matter what. Being a mom of 2, it was very difficult to take out time for myself and it was a struggle. Believe me, a very difficult step to take. If you are a mom, you would understand what I am talking about. But eventually I learned to deal with the difficulties I faced. Once a woman becomes a mom, it doesn’t at all means you have to just give up on everything and focus on parenting. Parenting should be priority,of course, but if you are “fit” then you have a happy family.

There was a time when I gave my 100% to my kids , not a single percentage to husband even, I felt somewhat miserable but wasn’t actually aware of it. There is always that “one day” in everyone’s life when things become clear in front of you and you just know what to do next. I knew that not only my kids, but my husband needs my time, my house needs my time, my in-laws and every body part of my life needs a part of me. Life is too short to cut off myself from all of these. I knew I had to balance things. I knew I had to look pleasant when my eldest daughter started appreciating my beauty when I do my hair. This is just one example. I knew that if I take care of myself, end result is a happy family. So I did it.

It was difficult but not impossible. Now my kids are going to school, so I have the first part of the day to pamper myself. I do not need to do that pampering daily , but yes, skin care is important and should be done daily. If you are interested in my skin care routine, click here.

If your kids are still very young for school ,they are with you 24 x 7, take out time for yourself when they are playing or napping. There is time for you , you just need to make THAT effort. There is NOTHING in the world that can stop you from taking care of yourself but only you.

So keeping track of everything sometimes becomes hard as I have million of things to do and forgetting something is what I don’t want. Skin care has to be consistent. So what I do to make my life easier is I created a planner and stuck it on my washroom mirror to remind me of what I have to do next.

All of us have different skin types and our skin has a certain requirement of care depending on our age. I am over 30 years already so I decided to do complete facial twice a month, I exfoliate  maximum thrice a week and use mask 2 or 3 times a week. If you are under 25 years, I suggest apply scrub and mask once a week only and full facial once a month.

Review- M.A.C Highlight Powder Cipria Illuminate and Flat Out Fabulous Lipstick

So I broke my record! I thought I would never buy any M.A.C product as I found it so unnecessarily costly. Until one fine day……. I saw this lipstick shade Flat Out Fabulous on internet , I couldn’t resist the temptation of getting myself one. That was when I didn’t discover its dupe yet. Ughh Will share the dupe with you guys.

mac_sku_M0N919_640x600_0

I won’t talk about the lipstick much because you will find plenty of reviews on this range everywhere. Just that I love it , love the color, the staying power and texture. ❤ Check out the swatch here.

Next I bought was this M.A.C Highlight Powder Cipria Illuminate. I have seen people raving about M.A.C highlighters but none mentioned this. When I saw this at their store, with no second thoughts I decided to get it. There is something in me that feels the urge of getting those items not bought by others much 😛 I know it’s weird but I like trying out “uncommon’ products as most of the time I found some really awesome underrated stuff.

machighlightDSC_5991

M.A.C Flat out fabulous lipstick

This powder has two shades, a pink with silver overspray as you see in the picture. The design looks so beautiful and I love the silvers in it. At first I thought it will be too overwhelming on the cheeks once applied. The sales lady told me this can be used as a face powder and I was wondering if she was in her right sense. How can I have silver all over my face.

DSC_6001DSC_6004

The product looks like any other normal powder with a very little amount of shimmer on the skin. EXCUSE MY HAIRY ARMS 😛

At first I just used this as highlighter carefully layering the product just above my blush until one day I decided to apply it all over my face and see if the sales lady was right. I applied and to be honest I really liked the result because I am so much into shimmers and glitter. Believe me, my face didn’t look glittery at all.

M.A.C highlight powder
M.A.C highlight powder. From left to right- Swatched base , blended base +overspray and base+overspray not blended

When using the pink base alone and base + overspray together, it didn’t really make a lot of difference. The silver in this powder gives the exact glow I needed for my beauty 😛 It is a perfect overall powder for me not highlighter.

Will I purchase this again?

No 😛 only because it is costly . Bought it for AED 145

Would I recommend?

Definitely Yes, if you can afford.

Thank you for reading:)

Makeup Series- Foundation Routine

A lot of friends and random ladies from few social media groups I am part of, ask me about “makeup” and most commonly asked questions are:

  • How to apply make up?
  • What is a concealer?
  • Is concealer and highlighter the same?
  • Which one to apply first?
  • I have watched a lot of you tube videos but they apply a lot of products that I loose track then. Can you please tell me what should I buy etc.

So I have decided to do a series on Make up “How to’s ” and split it into different posts to make it specific. I will be covering everything from steps on how to apply makeup and will suggest products ideal for each skin type. So I’m sharing with you all my foundation routine.

I’m not an expert or any kind of beauty guru but playing with make up has given me enough experience that I can share with you all about it.This is simply how I do it and you can do it your way too with a little of information from here. 🙂

Today I’ll be sharing with you all my foundation routine but with a little variation to generalize it.

1. Face Primer (optional)– For me , this is optional as I personally think face primer is one overrated and unnecessary beauty product. Yes, you hear me right. Most of the time my make up routine does not include any face primer because the moisturizer I applied is good enough to work as a primer and holds my makeup for longer time. I’m not saying I don’t own a single primer, I do and that too, a lot! 😛 (I’m just a makeup addict so I need everything LOL). Okay so moving on, Face primer helps makeup to stay long, smooths skin as it covers pores(silicone base ones usually do this job) and prevents natural facial oil from showing up. I have a combination to oily skin, more towards oily and let me tell you, none of the face primers really made THAT difference that I can say “Oh wow, my skin is perfect now” I get the same result even with just moisturizer. It’s really totally up to you. If face primer will give you the confidence, then go ahead use it.

After applying the face primer, wait for like a minute then move on to the next step.

Suggested Face Primers : Though I’m an advocate of drugstore products, I still will give the option of high-end too as many of you might prefer only pricey ones. There are plenty of face primers out there offered by every brand but I’ll mention those that I have used.

Rimmel face primer
Rimmel face primer

High End:

  1. M.A.C Matte Cream
  2. Benefit Porefessional- For pore prone skin
  3. Urban Decay Pore Perfecting for combination to oily skin

Drugstore:

  1. NYX Shine killer- Ideal for oily skin
  2. Rimmel Stay matte for oily skin
  3. Babyskin by Maybelline

2. Corrector (optional)- We use color correctors to cover any discoloration in our face , like dark circles, blemishes etc. Correctors do some heavy-duty job with your imperfections. There is a proper color for a certain discoloration you have to get a flawless look. Check this post to know how to cover all those unwanted colors on your skin. You may apply this using any concealer brush but I prefer using my fingers esp when I’m working under my eyes.

DSC_5459

Suggested Color Correctors by me: I would suggest palettes than individual colors. NYX color correcting palettes, BH cosmetics corrector & concealer palette, Wet n Wild Coverall, MAC Pro Concealer Palette,

3.Foundation/BB cream- After covering all those colors that make your skin color uneven, it is now time to apply your foundation which you have bought according to your skin type and color(obviously). Normally I just like to grab my BB cream instead of foundation. I’ll go for foundation in case I want more coverage than usual. You may apply foundation using your fingers, makeup brush or beauty blender. For those who do not know what beauty blender is, it is the Holy Sponge everyone has been raving about. You just need to check what suits you more. I use my foundation brush.

DSC_4755

Suggested Foundations by me:
Karaja pore minimiser, Rimmel( Stay Matte, longlasting, match perfection), Loreal(True match,Lumi Magique), e.l.f (flawless foundation, moisturising foundation)

4. Concealer- concealer is needed to cover any imperfection that your corrector haven’t really covered. In my case , I do not need any concealer whenever I use the corrector. When I do not use corrector, I usually need some concealer then to get that flawless look. Not unless you have a lot to cover, you will need both. You must be wondering how your face would look with all these products. 😀 Do not worry about that, always apply minimum amount of corrector and concealer to avoid caking up. Apply using a concealer brush or fingers and dab gently on areas you need them.

Suggested Concealers by me: L.A Girl Pro concealer, e.l.f concealer and highlighter, Maybelline Age rewind, Benefit Fake up, Nars Radiant creamy concealer.

5.Face Powder to set– Face powder is very important as you will need this to set all those products you applied from 1 to 4. Powders can be pressed ones or the loose ones. I always prefer loose powder as I have oily skin but at times I used matte pressed powders too. There are just plenty out there to choose from according to your skin type.

e.l.f High Definition Powder
e.l.f High Definition Powder

Suggested Face powder by me:
e.l.f HD loose powder, Prestige loose powder, Rimmel Stay matte pressed powder, Bodyshop pressed powder, Make up forever HD Powder.

6. Bronzer (Optional)– This is so optional for me as I am very much happy with how my skin color is after all my make up and I don’t need any kind of “browns” at all. However I need a blush! I use bronzer occasionally when I would want a light contouring. But almost everyone uses that nowadays, so go ahead if you want to be part of the gang. Bronzers, I personally think are for those who are pale if not almost, to add some color to the skin because after applying all the products from steps 1 to 5, one can end up looking so “colorless” & “white” if you know what I mean.

Suggested Bronzers by me: Smashbox, Physician’s Formula, Nars, Burjois, Rimmel Natural Bronzer, Bobbi Brown

7. Blush- Like I mentioned in previous step, after applying all those products you will actually cover all the natural color that God has gifted you so it is important that you mimic the color that your cheeks have and so is the reason you need a blush and anyway it is always nice to have those ideal “rosy cheeks” ❤

Suggested Blush by me: Sleek palette, Nars blush, e.l.f baled blush, NYX, Tarte

8. Highlighter(Optional)- Again this is optional for me as I have applied makeup tons of times years ago, way before highlighters were even invented and I think I still looked pretty without a highlighter :P. 😉 Just that, with everyone talking about it, you can’t ignore this products specially after what it does to makeup. Highlighter is a product that actually highlights areas of the face that is hit by light like upper cheeks, brow bones, T-Zone, chin and cupid bow. You either highlight using shimmery highlighters or any matte powder 2 shades lighter than your skin. Highlighting is given a very interesting name “strobing” nowadays just so you know if you don’t yet. The highlighters used for strobing are shimmery that will give a subtle shine to all those areas I mentioned above and Illuminators are used for the same purpose of giving your cheeks that extra glow.
