Review- GlamGals Professional Glitterati Nails

Hello Beauties,

I wanted to do some de-cluttering earlier today and ended up playing with another amazing product from GlamGals. Whew! I wish I had so much time to try out the glitters with different nail colors but I’m still happy with how much I did. Today I have with you another pocket -friendly beautifying product for your nails that is the GlamGals Professional Glitterati nails. I have talked about GlamGals in my previous post that how impressed I am with the quality of their products and packaging for the price they offer. I received quite a few items from them and decided to review them one by one starting with my most favorite product the Dual Lip gloss and today my 2nd fave product. ❤

This time I will just go ahead with the review and pass on with the packaging as I have talked a lot about it already.

So this one has the colored nail polish on one end and the glitter nail polish on the other end. You can wear them alone separately or with each other. I have tried wearing only the red, then red with glitter on one nail ,then glitter all over the reds and lastly used the glitters on top of while nail paint. It is up to you how to use it. Just play with it and be creative. For me glitters are always my top most choice as you do not need a lot of hard work applying them and it gives that oomphy look in just few seconds. Not to mention all the hard work you need in removing them. 😛

Am I late?–Fall Favorites!!

Hello Beauties,

It’s all about Fall in the beauty and fashion world. I couldn’t resist but dig into my makeup stash fro some “fall-ish” products which I am going to share with you all. My bad, I cannot get all makeup brands in Dubai. Even the drugstore ones becomes high-end if bought from here. Thinking smile So I always opt for online stores/sellers that can get all my desired products from U.S for a lesser price than what the market offers. I wish I had a best friend in the U.S who would volunteer to ship to me and I can whole heartedly shop from the U.S websites. Angel Okay so me coming back to reality, I have ordered online couple of items which are ideal colors for FallRed heart

HOW I CLEAN MY MAKEUP BRUSHES <3

Going through my old posts and saw some really useful but un noticed post. Will reblog them. ❤

Veena'z Kit

MAKE UP BRUSH HYGEINE MAKE UP BRUSH HYGIENE

Many of us, specially those new to the make up world , do not realize that our make up tools needs cleaning too. Yes, go and get all your brushes and start cleaning them.

Why is it important to clean your make up brushes?

It is very important to wash your make up tools as they accumulate bacteria in between the bristles, there are leftover residues from your last application on there which is so gross. You don’t want any kind of infection on your face, right? These bacteria will literally damage your skin, not immediately but eventually. Makeup does make us look beautiful but it is very important to have a healthy skin too. If your canvas is damaged, your painting will be affected. 😉

What you need:

1. Dish washing Detergent (Any)- perfect to kill bacteria

2. Bowl

3. Water

4. Dirty Brushes

If Makeup Foundation Was A Woman.

So just a random crazy thought I usually have. Showing you today the weirdest craziest side of me. Smile with tongue out Today I feel like doing something different from the usual posts I do.

Sitting in front of my dressing table and deciding which foundation to wear today was not different from any other days as this is something I face every time I start putting on makeup. I admit, I do not have many foundations as I wasn’t a foundation girl before. I lived my entire life using My Benefit BB Cream until makeup addiction happened. In love From that blessed day up to date, I own only 4 foundations. Thinking smile I hope it is 4 only. Oh wait 4 liquid and 2 cake foundations. Yes ,so 6 in total. Oh wait, add 1 cream to powder foundation too Angel So 7 in total. I need to move along now before I start remembering all my hidden treasures.

Review- GlamGals Color Stay Dual Lip Gloss

If you guys are following me on Instagram and Facebook, you must have seen the pictures I posted of the beauty products sent to me by GlamGals for reviewing. Mini reviews have also been posted. Thanks to this awesome company, I’ve been introduced to another range of beauty goodies that I get to try and like. Liked or loved, that we will find out as I share my reviews.

Today I have for you, the GlamGals Color Stay Dual Lip Gloss. If you have noticed, I have been adding lots of videos in my blog posts. I really enjoy the few seconds video I make to show the product, I think you get an idea of how the product actually looks like through video not unless you have captured a very good picture. But since I am still learning to do product photo shoot, bear with my video craze. 😛 I think I can take decent pictures but the silver packaging of this product just challenged me a lot. LOL

Product Details:

Brand: GlamGals

Name: Color Stay Dual Lip Gloss

Shade: DLG12

Price: AED35

Ingredients: 20150925_184438

The Packaging:

20150925_183830

Unlike any other lip gloss I ever held in my hands, this surely was heavier. Normally, I barely feel I’m even holding anything but this one was screaming “Hello, I’m here!” The tube came in a silver box with all necessary details printed on like ingredients, labels, application tips, address, production/expiry date etc. The lip gloss tube is of very good quality plastic material, reminds me of my acrylic drawers. Since it is dual ended, one end has the colored lip gloss and the other end with the transparent one.

What they say: Triple effects- Condition, Moisturizing and Long stay all day wear with 3D Diamond Shine.

The Inside:

pizap.com14431930677981

On one end, you get the colored pigment and on the other end is a transparent product that is supposed to moisturize your lips. It is a beautiful red shade , the formula is perfect not too thick and not too thin, covers the lips’ own pigmentation, glides on very well and applies evenly. The transparent end of the lip gloss is a very shiny liquid which has exactly the consistency you need.

How to apply: Apply the colored lip gloss on lips, wait for about 2 minutes then coat it with the moisturizing lip gloss.

pizap.com14431937318101I wore only the lip gloss for 2 days, the whole day and it is very good on its own only. If you are a fan of matte lips, you will be happy with it this way. It is not drying and do not chap your lips. I was a bit skeptical using the moisturizing lip gloss at first as I thought the brush might pick most of the red color, but it actually did the opposite. It was very easy to apply without smudging my red pigment and it actually felt very good on the lips. I felt it actually moisturized my lips at the same time giving my lips that non-overwhelming spark.

Pros:

  1. cruelty-free (has a bunny on its box)
  2. not drying
  3. perfect formula
  4. pigmented
  5. moisturising but not sticky
  6. good quality at affordable price
  7. 15 shades to choose from
  8. long wear
  9. quality packaging

Cons:

Very light smell when applying, not really that bothering as it fades away very quickly

Shades: pizap.com14431856844581

Bloggers Award

index pink-circle-hi

Hah!! Finally got to do awards related post after ages. Sorry guys for the delay. It might have taken 2 months for me to post but I did!! It’s always great to be nominated for different awards as I feel appreciated, noticed and this is a way to interact with fellow blogger and help each other.

So Lindsay nominated me for two awards and Mirror the love nominated me for one but I decided to merge both the awards as they are the same ad I feel so happy that through these awards, I discovered two more amazing blogs that I can go to during my coffee time. Interesting stuff to read and fabulous pictures. You guys should check them out. Go ,go go. 😀

Award #1 The Premio Dardos Award

The rules are:

2) Answer the questions you were given.
3) Nominate 10 people whose blog is about beauty or fashion.
4) Make 10 questions for your nominees to answer.
5) Let the bloggers know that you nominated them.

Lindsay’s Questions for me and my answers 😀

  1. How long does it take to do your makeup on a regular day?

15 to 20 minutes if simple eye makeup, no contouring and correcting.

2.Smokey eye or natural for a special event?

Smokey all the way…<3

3.What brand of makeup brushes do you prefer?

BH Cosmetics, Good quality at affordable price.

4. Do you ever go makeup free?

Yes, many times. In fact most of the time.

5. What is one makeup product you wish companies would improve and why (nail polish, lipstick, blush, etc.)?

Many to mention. Not really improve but stop bringing to the market like lip concealer, lip primer, eye primer, I feel they are not really necessary. Bronzer and powder contouring products should be the same and not separate, why make people spend unnecessary and on top of that makeup became confusing due to this.

6. How old were you when you started wearing makeup?

I was 25, eyeliner and lipstick only. I started wearing full makeup at the age of 28.

7. What’s your best tip for perfect eyeshadow blending?

Get the right blending brush, blend till your fingers hurt but not eyes. 😛

8.What brand of foundation is the best?

Many. But my favorite foundation has been my Karaja pore minimiser ,so for me it is the best. Otherwise Loreal and Maybelline has some really good foundation.

9. Who is your makeup idol?

I look up to Nikki tutorials on Youtube. I would want to be able to do makeup like she does.

10. What’s your favorite mascara brand?

Loreal, Burjouis and essence.

Make Up World By Veena

Hey Beauty Buddies,

So we’re now OFFICIALLY into fall *Wooo Hooo* My favourite season has landed… no longer am I feeling summer-shamed at wearing my new cosy ankle booties or snuggling into my warm woolly damson scarf on these nippy September mornings. In addition to my new autumn wardrobe essentials, the house has a feel of fall about it too… my favourite Ikea tea lights are nestled in their cute little holders, my kitchen cupboard is stocked with jars of yummy hot drinks (I’ve even managed to dust off my oversized mugs ready to be filled with some chocolately goodness) & my rambling shoes are ready for those fabulous woodland walks. Yep, the autumn essentials are very much in check!

Talking of autumn; today I have the first official Behind The Blogger of fall 2015 *cheers of joy* as the gorgeous make-up-mama, Veena, from Make Up World By Veena, take’s her place on the virtual sofa this morning to give…
